ATA launches account review

Published on .

American Trans Air, Indianapolis, launched a review for its estimated $13 million account. Jones-Lundin, Chicago, is the consultant, and the review is believed to be in its early stages. The incumbent could not immediately be confirmed. ATA, the nation's 11th-largest airline as well as largest commercial charter operator, recently said it will buy 30 new Boeing jets and lease 17 planes from International Lease Finance Corp. and GE Capital Aviation Services as it embarks on an expansion plan. ILFC will also purchase $30 million in stock in ATA parent company Amtran.
