Atlanta publisher moves

Dennis Berry has left as publisher of the Atlanta Journal and Constitution to become president-CEO of Manheim Auctions, an auto auction firm and a unit of Cox Enterprises. Just a few days ago Mr. Berry denied press reports of a shutdown at the afternoon Atlanta Journal, where circulation tumbled 7.8% in the six-month period ending in March to 128,875. The Atlanta newspapers are owned by Cox Communications.
