STEPPING OUT: Hush Puppies Co. is moving into fall with a national print campaign breaking in September magazines this week. The ads from Bozell Worldwide, Southfield, Mich., feature classic Hush Puppies styles, and introduce a sue de boot and pumps. Bozell prepared 21 executions, tailored to specific magazines and their audiences. The brand has managed to touch up its "very tired and stale image from your father's Oldsmobile sort-of-brand" to trendy, said Faye Landes, a senior analyst at Smith Barney, who follows Hush Puppies marketer Wolverine World Wide.
