Aurora combines units

Aurora Foods is streamlining its formerly separate dry food operations and frozen business into one unit that will be headquartered in St. Louis. The move is intended to drive efficiencies among businesses and will include combining marketing efforts for many of the company's breakfast brands. The Columbus, Ohio, office that currently houses grocery brands, including Duncan Hines baking mixes and Log Cabin and Mrs. Butterworth's syrups, will be closed Sept. 30. Frozen brands including Mrs. Paul's seafood and Lender's bagels have been marketed out of the VDK division in St. Louis.
