[New York] Top automotive marketing executives will meet at a marketing conference March 27 here, the second such annual event held by Automotive News.

"Brand or Brand New: Trends in Marketing in the '90s" is the theme of the conference, to be held at the Jacob K. Javits Center during the second press day of the New York International Auto Show. Panelists include Mike Jackson, exec VP-marketing, service and sales, Mercedes-Benz of North America; and Fred Ehlers, VP-marketing, Mazda Motor of America.

A brand manager from General Motors Corp. will discuss GM's new emphasis on marketing each model line as a brand.
