Interactive agencies Avalanche Solutions and Razorfish, already operating under a merger, will announce May 4 a consolidation under the Razorfish name. The Avalanche team, which had been operating as a separate unit since January, will now move into the Razorfish offices. Jeff Dachis, Razorfish co-founder, will continue as president-CEO; co-founder Craig Kanarick will remain chairman. Peter Seidler, co-founder of Avalanche, will move over to become Razorfish chief creative officer. The combined client list will include Ameritrade, CBS, Carnegie Hall, The Wall Street Journal, Time Warner and Warner Music Group.
