The jury for the first Hispanic Creative Advertising Awards comprised Neil Comber, director of ethnic marketing, Procter & Gamble Co.; Castor Fernandez, president-CEO, Castor Advertising Corp., New York; Luis Miguel Messianu, chief creative officer, Del Rivero Messianu Advertising, Coral Gables, Fla.; Viviana Pendrill, VP-creative director and production director, Casanova Pendrill Publicidad, Irvine, Calif.; Federico Traeger, creative director, Young & Rubicam's Bravo Group, New York.

Judges were prohibited from voting on work done by their agency or for their account.

Ad Age editorial staff members on the jury included Advertising Age International Editor Laurel Wentz and Reporter Mercedes M. Cardona.

The competition was coordinated by Robert Goldsborough, Ad Age's special projects director and Michael Ambrosio, associ ate creative services manager, Ad Age Group. The final judging took place July 20 at the Millennium Broadway Hotel
