SINGAPORE--Having served as VP-sales for Columbia TriStar International Television in Hong Kong for five years, Todd Miller has been named managing director of AXN Action TV. He succeeds James Buklarewicz, who leaves to become managing director of UPCTV, part of Europe's biggest cable operator, the UPC Group.

Mr. Miller is credited with growing the Columbia TriStar Asian business by 300%, including advancing its Korea business and increasing original Mandarin language local productions.

Mr. Miller will relocate from Hong Kong to Singapore, where AXN has its regional headquarters. The network's three satellite services -- AXN India, AXN Taiwan and AXN East Asia -- reach 16 million households across 15 countries.

Prior to joining Columbia TriStar, Mr. Miller was senior sales executive for Star TV, served as general manager of Sojourn magazine for Seavex and helped launch Asian ad sales for CNN International.
