Published on .

Discovery Networks has signed deals with three advertisers--Chrysler-Plymouth, Hewlett-Packard and Merrill Lynch--for its "China Season," 36 hours of programming over three weeks devoted to the history and culture of China spread across The Discovery Channel and The Learning Channel. In addition, the programming will be broadcast to 250 million TV homes in China via China Central Television. Advertisers receive ad time, show sponsorships, ads in Destination Discovery and TLC Monthly, and mentions in on-air promos and print ads.
