Bahrenburg to exit Petersen as EMAP finalizes acquisition

D. Claeys Bahrenburg, vice chairman of Petersen Cos., New York, is expected to announce his resignation tomorrow. His leaving coincides with the close of the sale of Petersen to British media company EMAP. Mr. Bahrenburg will join investor group Willis Stein & Partners, the same group that partnered with Chairman-CEO James D. Dunning Jr. to acquire Petersen in September 1996 from founder Robert Petersen.
