BarnesandNoble.com books $40 million with AOL

Reinforcing an agreement signed earlier this year, BarnesandNoble.com announced that it will pay America Online $40 million over the next four years to be the exclusive bookseller on the service. The new deal gives BarnesandNoble.com greater visibility on AOL, such as the AOL ``Find Central'' area, and also allows cross-promotional opportunities, such as online auditoriums with authors and personalities.
