BarnesandNoble.com to be exclusive bookseller on CompuServe

Published on .

BarnesandNoble.com announced a deal Oct. 28 making it the exclusive bookseller on CompuServe Corp.'s proprietary U.S. and Canadian service, CSi, as well as on the new Internet service C from CompuServe.

BarnesandNoble will be the exclusive bookseller in CSi's Electronic Mall and have preferred placement in CSi's and C's search areas. In exchange, CompuServe will get a cut of the revenue from sales that it links to BarnesandNoble.com.
