Baseball goes live on the Web

Progressive Networks, creators of RealAudio and RealVideo, and Major League Baseball on Wednesday plan to conduct a live video broadcast of the Seattle Mariners vs. the Cleveland Indians at the National Association of Broadcasters in Las Vegas. The company last year began conducting live RealAudio broadcasts of Major League games. RealVideo is available for public beta at its Web site.
