Baseball post to Murphy

Gregory B. Murphy, a marketing veteran of General Foods, PepsiCo and Kraft, has been named president-CEO of Major League Baseball Enterprises, a new entity that will coordinate all business and marketing of Major League Baseball. Most recently he was president-CEO of Kraft Foods Bakery Cos. At Tuesday's announcement he said: "I am looking forward to the challenge of developing strategies that will increase revenue, increase attendance, increase television ratings and increase franchise values and make Major League Baseball an international sports and entertainment leader."
