Basic cable tops Big 4 in prime

In an historic first, more TV households were tuned to cable TV networks than the four major broadcast networks during prime time the week of June 22, Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau said. CAB said analysis of data from Nielsen Media Research showed 22.8 million households were tuned to cable last week in primetime, while 22.6 million were tuned to ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, combined, during prime time.
