Bayer puts Alka Seltzer and aspirin up for review

Bayer AG invited New York agencies, including BBDO Worldwide, McCann-Erickson and Foote, Cone & Belding, for a review of global brands Alka Seltzer, Bayer aspirin and two insecticides, scheduled for the end of September. The accounts are estimated at more than $60 million. Lintas, which was not invited, handles aspirin in 25 countries; BBDO has the U.S. account. McCann handles Alka-Seltzer in the U.S.; FCB has Bayer's corporate U.S. business and A-S Plus.
