Bayer shifts $25 million to BBDO

Published on .

Bayer Consumer Care has shifted an estimated $25 million in business to Omnicom Group's BBDO network from Euro RSCG Tatham, Chicago, meaning all of the Bayer division's business is now with BBDO. The One-A-Day, Flintstones and Bugs Bunny (not currently advertised) vitamins lines and Midol pain treatment have moved to BBDO, Chicago, while Bactine first-aid spray (also not currently advertised) has gone to BBDO, New York, which already handles Bayer aspirin and Alka-Seltzer, while the Chicago office has Aleve. Tatham has worked on the vitamin lines since 1969. A spokeswoman for Bayer, Morris Township, N.J., said the moves were made with an eye toward consolidating with an agency with global capabilities.
