SINGAPORE -- Bartle Bogle Hegarty Asia Pacific has won two new accounts, Sheraton Towers hotel and a project from Hiang Kie Group, owners of the "Coffee Club'' chain of cafe-style restaurants.

Sheraton Towers is one of Singapore's prestigious hotels, located in Scotts Road. BBH Asia Pacific, which is based in Singapore, has been appointed to produce an ad campaign to run locally and in regional international publications toward the end of the year. The business was won after a pitch involving three other agencies.

The Hiang Kie Group is a family-owned coffee and spices trading company established in 1936 with the aim of developing an appreciation of good quality coffee in the region. BBH Asia Pacific, selected after presentations from a few agencies, will develop the marketing strategy and advertising for a confidential assignment.

Since the formation of BBH Asia Pacific in October 1996 by London-based shop BBH, the agency has won seven accounts, including assignments from Asia Pacific Breweries and Electrolux SE Asia. Its other clients are Levi Strauss & Co. Pacific Division for a pan-regional creative account, a confidential brief for Coca-Cola Far East Ltd and Polaroid Asia Pacific. The agency's billings in the region are $23m.
