BBH Asia Pacific wins global spice account

SINGAPORE -- Bartle Bogle Hegarty's Asia Pacific office in Singapore has won the advertising account for Asian Home Gourmet, makers of a high quality range of Asian spice pastes. The brief is to provide a global brand advertising campaign, expected to include TV and print executions. The size of the account is undisclosed.

Asian Home Gourmet, owned by food giant Cerebos Pac Ltd, makes a wide range of fresh spice blends, using authentically prepared recipes derived from China, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and India. The foil-packed pastes are sold across Asia, Europe and the U.S.

BBH won the pitch in a shootout with another agency. Bartle Bogle Hegarty opened its second office after London in Singapore in October 1986. The Singapore office has eight clients and has annualized billings of $35m.
