BBH U.S. lines up senior management

NEW YORK-- BBH U.S., the third full-service office of U.K. advertising agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty, has created a senior management team, eight months after opening its doors in NewYork.

The new team is a selection of BBH London and local talent, using the blueprint management structure for the BBH Asia Pacific office, established in Singapore in 1996.

Matthew George, previously VP-account director at MediaCom, has been appointed as media director. The new strategic planning director will be Emma Cookson, previously group director at BBH London.

They will report to Cindy Gallop, who was named president of BBH New York last year, and Ty Montague, who set up the U.S. office in October 1998, was named creative director. John Hegarty, one of the founders of the U.K. shop, and currently based in the U.S., is chairman.

BBH was founded in 1982 by John Bartle, Nigel Bogle and John Hegarty. Its founding clients were Audi, Whitbread Beer Co. and Levi Strauss & Co.
