The account was previously handled jointly by The Sales Machine and fellow Havas Advertising agency Euro RSCG Works, Paris.
Microsoft France put its combined business-to-business and business-to-consumer account to tender earlier this year, initially opening the competition to the Paris-based shops of DDB; McCann-Erickson, which handles the Microsoft Corp. account; True North Communications-owned FCB; and The Sales Machine, which competed without Euro RSCG Works.
The Microsoft France account includes traditional media advertising, a marketing services aspect to include promotions and direct marketing operations and interactive Internet ads. The first elements of the new BDDP & Fils stewardship are expected by fall.
