Bell Atlantic, New York, and BET Holdings, owners of Black Entertainment Television, will test market packages of telecommunications services to African-American consumers. Under an agreement, Bell Atlantic can use the BET brand for advertising and promotion and will handle taking orders and back office support. BET will assist Bell Atlantic in marketing services. The market packages will include combinations of Bell Atlantic's optional services, including cellular, paging, voice mail and Internet access.
