Bell Atlantic expands sales reach of Yellow Pages through L90

Bell Atlantic, a publisher of Yellow Pages directories including its online directory, BigYellow, will work with L90, an online advertising company based in Santa Monica, Calif., to develop what it calls "Y-commerce'' initiatives that will increase advertising opportunities in both offline and online directories. The new program will enable advertisers to place ads in key sections of the printed Yellow Pages, including display ads under specific headings and listings; in the Internet guide; in ads throughout the book; as well as sponsorship of a ``Big Topics'' section in BigYellow.
