The in-room interactive hotel guide offers leisure and business travelers access to information about restaurants, entertainment, events, sporting activities and shopping. The service also allows the guest to print coupons and customized maps. Marketers can choose among a number of advertising opportunities on the service, priced from $200 to $1,000 per month.
While Bell Atlantic just last week began selling ads on the service to Chicago-area marketers, InfoTravel has attracted more than 100 advertisers in the Washington, D.C., area, where 13 hotels carry the service.
