BellSouth inks strategic marketing deal with Flycast

BellSouth Corp.'s online advertising and e-commerce unit BellSouth Intelliventures signed an exclusive agreement with ad network Flycast Communications Corp. The agreement is aimed at allowing BellSouth's local customers to expand their online reach via Flycast's network of 500 Web sites. Flycast will also expand its sales force through BellSouth's directory sales force. In addition, Flycast announced a new Local Partner Program, which will allow marketers to better target prospective customers and businesses in geographic areas.
