BERLIN TO BE CHIEF JUDGE FOR AA BEST

[new york] Andy Berlin, chairman of Berlin, Cameron & Partners, will be chief judge for Advertising Age's Best Awards for 1997 advertising competition. Mr. Berlin heads up a panel of judges including agency creatives, advertiser executives and Ad Age editors.

Others on the panel are Stacy Wall, creative director, Wieden & Kennedy, New York; Kathy Delaney, exec VP-creative director, Deutsch; Michael McCadden, VP-marketing, The Gap; Jack Rooney, VP-marketing, Miller Brewing Co.; and Jeff Manning, executive director, California Milk Processors Board. They will be joined by Ad Age editors for the judging, which will take place April 14.

Winners will be announced in an Ad Age Special Report May 18.

The Best Awards is the only ad-vertising competition that is judged by creatives, advertisers and business journalists. The deadline for entries has been extended to Feb. 27.
