McDonald's Corp., Oak Brook, Ill., on Wednesday launches a site on AmericaOnline called "McFamily," containing entertainment and information for families,as well as an online catalog selling McDonald's licensed merchandise. The sitewill be available on Microsoft Network in mid-September. Content will includearts and crafts ideas for kids; an online art gallery featuring kids' "McArt";games that can be downloaded to a home computer; and the "Share a Thought"bulletin board. The "McStuff" catalog will display McDonald's collectibles andlicensed NASCAR, NHRA and Olympics gear customers can order through an 800number. "McFamily will provide us with a new way to communicate and buildstronger relationships with our customers," said Senior VP-Marketing David Greenin a statement.
