THE BIG PUSH;A HOOP DREAM COME TRUE

Published on .

Miller Brewing Co. focuses on the dilemma of girlfriend vs. sports in a Miller Lite spot that debuted yesterday on NBC's NBA coverage. The :30, titled "Basketball Date," is part of the "Life is good" campaign from Leo Burnett USA, Chicago. In the spot, a basketball fan tries simultaneously to watch the game in a sports bar and listen to his gossipy girlfriend. When he thumps his Lite bottle on the table, she suddenly takes on the crazed demeanor of the male sportscaster, underlining the theme that Lite drinkers can have it both ways.
