THE BIG PUSH;CREATURE COMFORTS OF A KID'S WORLD

Published on .

McDonald's Corp. presents the world as preteens would like it in a spot from Leo Burnett USA, Chicago. "If kids ran the world," as the spot says, four-legged creatures would talk. In the commercial, critters ranging from a bird to a basset converse with human pal, Joey. A feline plays Cupid, telling Joey her master "totally digs him." The glitch in Joey's Dr. Doolittle universe is that the animals mooch his burger. As he admits: "There would be some drawbacks." The tagline, as uttered by the cat and dog, is "Hey, it could happen."
