THE BIG PUSH: HALLS USES HOT ZINC TO STOP COLD

Published on .

Warner-Lambert Co. takes the viewer to a factory where chunks of zinc are smelted into a cold remedy, in a spot for Halls Zinc Defense lozenges. J. Walter Thompson USA, New York, handles the Halls extension, which this year became the first zinc lozenge to be introduced by a major marketer (AA, June 23). Encore Santa Monica (Calif.) handled postproduction and effects. The spot features the last commercial stop-motion work of well-known director/animator Fred Stuhr, who died Oct. 25 in a car crash.
