Amana Home Appliances premieres a commercial today as part of a campaign introducing a new refrigerator with the fresh-food compartment on top and the freezer at the bottom. Amana's first TV spot in seven years features a woman who single-handedly turns the fridge upside down to get to the fresh-food section. The company estimates consumers open the fresh-food section seven to 10 times more often than the freezer. Ingalls, Quinn & Johnson, Boston, handles the estimated $3 million TV and print effort.
