Biggs/Gilmore, Kalamazoo, Mich., won the estimated $8 million to $10 million account for Union Planters Corp., a bank holding company in Memphis, Tenn. The agency said it pitched in the final review round against Creative Alliance, Louisville, Ky. The Ramey Agency, Ridgeland, Miss., was the incumbent.

Tom Woodbery, vice president-advertising at Union Planters, said Biggs/Gilmore "has an innovative, Web-enabled franchise support program ... that meets some of our special needs." He also cited the shop's creative and strategic capabilities.
