BigStar.com, NYT on the Web ink marketing deal

Online movie superstore BigStar.com, New York, has signed a one-year strategic marketing partnership with The New York Times on the Web to advertise on the newspaper's Web site and to provide the new Video/DVD Alert service for the site. New York Times on the Web subscribers who register for the service will receive e-mails when they movies they want become available on video or DVD. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
