Bird site taps cartoon feature

Published on .

Interactive Features Syndicate, developer of personalized Web cartoons, inked a deal to display its cartoon "If Animals Could Talk" on the Web site for Lafeber Co., marketer of bird food. To view the cartoon, users must sign a guest register, creating a database that marketers can then tap into. IFS also is expected to offer cartoons to computer company Tektronix and the Syracuse Newspaper Group.
