Dereck Correia, 31, to VP-product marketing USA, a new post at Burger King Corp., Miami. Mr. Correia will oversee all product marketing for the Whopper sandwich, new products and growing the breakfast business. He joined Diageo-owned Burger King as director-product marketing in 1999 from director-brand marketing of Pizza Hut. The second-largest burger chain also named Marco Menazzi-Moretti to the new post of director-global consumer understanding from marketing director, Labatt Breweries. At BK, Mr. Menazzi-Moretti will be responsible for brand research in all four of Burger King's global regions - North America, Asia-Pacific, Latin America/Caribbean and Europe/Middle East/Africa.
