BK touts new menu option

Burger King Corp., Miami, said it will break TV spots Oct. 18 to promote a menu change allowing customers to choose either french fries or onion rings with any value meal at no extra charge. The new menu option takes effect Oct. 16 and highlights BK's policy of always taking special orders, as McDonald's Corp. prepares to roll out its new made-to-order cooking system.
