New Blockbuster drive

Blockbuster Entertainment begins its new holiday ad campaign Nov. 25. The television, radio and print campaign, from new agency Bernstein-Rein, Kansas City, Mo., uses the theme "We can help," and includes shots of store employees helping customers to select gifts. The musical track is the 1980s song "I Can Help" from Billy Swann. A 55 million-piece FSI promoting video and music products will drop on Thanksgiving day. Blockbuster also is introducing a stored value "gift card" that can be purchased in $5 increments up to $25.
