BMG Entertainment, Universal Music Group expand online venture, GetMusic

Universal Music Group and BMG Entertainment are rolling out their joint venture, GetMusic, an online music content and commerce site, from the U.S. to markets in Europe, Asia and Latin America. GetMusic is focused on creating an online community of music fans to build awareness for and drives sales of a wide range of artists, including Christina Aguilera, Jay-Z, Limp Bizkit and Santana. GetMusic will customize its overseas offerings with country-specific content and language.
