BMG launches genre-based Web sites

BMG Entertainment North America next week will launch genre-based Web sites, timed to its sponsorship of Jupiter Communications' Online Advertising conference in New York. BMG's Web sites target demographic groups based on visitors' music and lifestyle preferences. Its cornerstone sites include urban music site Peeps Republic, country music site Twang This! and Bugjuice, an alternative music site.
