BMW of North America, Woodcliff Lake, N.J., kicks off a cause-marketing program April 30 with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. BMW expects to raise $1 million for research by donating $1 for every mile test driven at special dealer events through Oct. 31. So far, more than 225 BMW dealers have planned events. No national ads are planned. General Motors Corp. also has a program with the foundation.
