Boeing veers to Bozell for some advertising work

Boeing Corp., Seattle, is said to have switched a significant portion of its account to Bozell from McCann-Erickson Worldwide, Los Angeles. Executives familiar with the move expect the global corporate branding assignment, and possibly other work, to shift to Bozell, whose Seattle, London and New York offices participated last year in a review for Boeing's consolidated $50 million account. McCann won that review and is expected to retain the commercial and military assignments. Boeing did not respond at deadline. The move comes as Boeing plans a spring debut for a corporate image campaign from McCann.
