Bank of America, Charlotte, N.C., consolidated its multicultural advertising efforts with UniWorld Group, Kang & Lee Advertising and Lopez Negrete Communications. UniWorld will handle African American advertising, Kang & Lee will oversee Asian-American efforts and Lopez Negrete will be in charge of Hispanic advertising. The three had been among several multicultural agencies used by Bank of America and NationsBank, which merged in April 1998. The review was carried out in-house. Bank of America chose sister shops Bozell Worldwide and Temerlin McClain in Dec. 1998 to handle its $90 million consolidated general market advertising.
