Bonanni leaves ESPN

Jack Bonanni confirmed reports that he has resigned as senior VP-advertising sales of ESPN to pursue new opportunities. He denied speculation that he was leaving because of a new structure that required him to report to ESPN Senior VP-Sales and Marketing George Bodenheimer. Mr. Bonanni, a 12-year ESPN veteran who is regarded as one of the leading TV sales executives, said he wants to take on a new challenge in "sports sales and marketing."
