Bosch appoints German agency to first international account

Published on .

STUTTGART -- Robert Bosch has named DDB Needham- owned Heye & Partner to a new international account - estimated at $20m or more - which will run throughout Europe, the U.S., China, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and the Philippines.

The campaign, which will kick off in 1997, is expected to run for three years. Media will include TV, print and billboards.

Heye & Partner won the business in a pitch, but Bosch will not reveal the other finalist. The company's initial trawl involved 25 agencies. A recipient for the media account is still undecided. Bosch most recently reported sales of $23.3bn.
