Published on .

Boston Chicken said President-CEO Larry Zwain is stepping down as the chain attempts to refocus on its core dinner business. Boston Chicken said heavy discounting of the Carver sandwich lines built strong lunch traffic but hurt the Boston Market chain's dinner sales. Mr. Zwain, who joined the company in 1995 from Pizza Hut, spearheaded the introduction and promotion of the Carver sandwiches last year. Goldberg Moser O'Neill, San Fransisco, handles the chain's dinner ads. Suissa Miller, Los Angeles, handles creative for Carver sandwiches.
