NEW YORK-Top management of the Botway Group earlier this month survived the crash of their company plane during a business trip to client Miles' headquarters in Elkhart, Ind.

The small plane, piloted by the media buying service's chairman, Clifford Botway, malfunctioned on takeoff from Westchester County (N.Y.) Airport, crashed through a steel fence, burst into flames and was destroyed.

Mr. Botway, President Arthur Schreibman and VP Peter Butchen escaped injury, but Secretary and new-business contact Jill Botway sustained minor back injuries.

The trip has been rescheduled for later this month, and this time it will be on a commercial airline.
