Bozell's Seattle office acquired Seattle creative shop Hammerquist &Halverson. Bozell Seattle president Pete Hatt said H&H's staff of 20 will be combined with his shop, bringing the new agency to 85 employees with $75 million in billings. Fred Hammerquist, partner in the shop, becomes executive creative director, working withBozell's executive creative director, Mary Knight. H&H partner LindaHalverson becomes director of business development at the combined shop. Carole Kitchell, Bozell's business development director, was promoted to assistant general manager. The agency's clients include Hewlett-Packard Co., FreeShop.com, PhotoWorks.com and The Governor's Commission on Early Learning. H&H's client lists includes Diadora Soccer, Nordstrom Rack and Tegic Communications. Mr. Hatt said the merger, which augments Bozell's talent pool, does not result in any conflicts.
