LONDON -- 20/20 Media, the European media joint venture between U.S. Bozell Worldwide and the U.K.'s CIA Medianetwork, is ditching its name and rebranding itself BJK&E Media Group in a move to reflect its global ambitions.

The European operation now bears the same name as Bozell Worldwide's U.S.-based BJK&E Media Group, set up in 1992, so creating a "consistent, global media services operation," says a statement from Bozell Worldwide's London office. Bozell Worldwide is a division of Bozell Jacobs Kenyon and Eckhardt, the global marketing communications company.

The company says the renaming also reflects the increased levels of multinational business being generated from major clients in Europe, the U.S. and elsewhere around the world.

BJK&E Media will continue to develop its partnership with CIA, with whom it has complimentary geographical coverage.

"Our philosophy combines a commitment to a strong local network and strong local management," says Dennis Lay, European managing director of BJK&E Media Group. "Our specialists are capable of understanding the available communication options, interpreting the media landscape and delivering cost- effective `media neutral' solutions." The group claims to operate a "media neutral" approach, whereby no particular communications discipline is favored above another.

Bozell Worldwide has more than 90 offices in over 50 countries. CIA Medianetwork, wholly-owned by the CIA Group, has more than 30 offices in 13 countries. It claims to be Europe's fastest growing, full-service media specialist.
