Nobody beats the Wiz, Carteret, N.J., the Northeast region electronics retailer, today awarded its $90 million ad account to Bozell Worldwide. There was no review; the business had been in-house. Bozell won on the strength of its recent purchase of Canadian retail ad specialist Prism Communications, Toronto. Prism has been renamed Bozell Retail and has opened a New York office to service the Wiz account. Bozell Retail will focus on advertising direction for the Wiz, said Warren Kornblum, Bozell Retail managing director, during a transition period with the in-house Wiz agency lasting several months.
