The Ozark Marketing Council has a new look and a new purpose.

While the council's main goal is still drawing tourists to the Branson area, all marketing functions have been taken over by Bozell, New York.

Executive Director Jan Pinkerton now will concentrate on fund raising. She had oversight over several marketing committees until Bozell was hired last year. Also, Bozell takes over media buying from Camelot Communications, Dallas.

Ms. Pinkerton's new duties include lobbying and working with state legislators regarding tourism.

Council VP Rod Orr has been named to chair the marketing committee, while Karen Hall heads the funding committee which is to raise $1.2 million this year to fund marketing and advertising campaigns. The OMC plans to spend more than $2 million in 1995.
